What does end-to-end encrypted notes mean?
End-to-end encryption means your notes are encrypted on your device before being sent anywhere. The server only receives ciphertext - it cannot read your notes. Only your device, with your key, can decrypt them.
Can TaskNote read my notes?
No. TaskNote uses zero-knowledge encryption. Your encryption key is derived from your password and never leaves your device. The TaskNote servers store only encrypted data they cannot decrypt.
What encryption algorithm does TaskNote use?
TaskNote uses AES-256-GCM encryption - the same standard used by banks and government agencies. Keys are derived using PBKDF2 and never transmitted.
